POKOTABI / Sushi Mikawa-ya
鮨 三河屋
The menu at Sushi Mikawa-ya includes Premium Matsu nigiri and chirashi, sashimi platters, thinly sliced flounder sashimi and negitoro rolls. Sushi is the focus, alongside à la carte dishes and drinks.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
You can make nigiri the centre of your meal, or begin with sashimi and other à la carte dishes. Sushi Mikawa-ya’s menu features Premium Matsu nigiri and Premium Matsu chirashi, as well as Matsu, Take and Ume sashimi platters, thinly sliced flounder sashimi and grilled tuna collar. For a few dishes before the sushi, options include chopped horse mackerel with sashimi and grilled conger eel. Rolls range from negitoro, salmon roe and sea urchin to cucumber and pickled plum with shiso, making it easy to choose something to finish a meal or nibble on a little at a time.
Some diners who visited for lunch have described mixing the separately served egg yolk into their marinated tuna rice bowl, and enjoying a refill of miso soup. The menu also lists lunch chirashi and tekkadon.
Beer and other alcoholic drinks are available too, so an evening meal could include sashimi and à la carte dishes alongside nigiri.
